The Salty Dog is a beautiful three bedroom family friendly holiday cottage at Camber Sands, East Sussex. The two larger bedrooms each have an ensuite shower and a family bathroom is opposite the third bedroom. There is a modern well-equipped open-plan kitchen with a large dining space and family lounge area. There is also a playroom/ snug for the kids. The garden to the back is fully enclosed and there is a garage for storage of sports equipment etc.
The Salty Dog is also dog friendly and only a few minutes stroll from Camber Sands beach.

The Salty Dog holiday cottage sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms + cots
Ground Floor:
Kitchen/ Dining/ Lounge: There is a large, well equipped kitchen/dining area with patio doors to garden. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and 4-ring ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, wine fridge, dishwasher and washer/drier (a few dishwasher and washing tablets are provided). The cosy lounge area has comfortable seating with a 40″ smart TV so you can access your usual Netflix, Amazon, Disney and Now subscription channels
Cloakroom: WC with hand basin.
First Floor:
Playroom: Children’s playroom with toys and games, puzzles, books. There is a comfortable sofa and 40” smart television. This room is the ideal hang out for children and teenagers but also a cosy snug for adults too. The large windows lead onto the balcony which catches the morning sun, the prefect spot to enjoy that early morning cuppa on a summer day.
Bedroom 1: Large airy bedroom with zip-link beds (one super-king size or two 3’ single beds), wardrobe with hanging space and drawer. There is room for a cot (or two). En-suite shower room with WC, basin and shower cubicle. This bedroom has a large picture window and double doors opening onto a ‘Juliet’ balcony. A small desk and chair by the window creates a nice work/ study area.
Second Floor:
Bedroom 2: Spacious bedroom with zip-link beds (one super-king size or two 3’ single beds), wardrobe with hanging space and drawers. There is room for a cot. En-suite shower room with WC, basin and shower cubicle.
Bedroom 3: Adjacent to bedroom 2 this smaller bedroom has zip-link beds (one king size or two 2’6” singles) and a wardrobe with hanging space and drawers. There is room for a cot.
Bathroom: Family bathroom with WC, basin and bath with shower over.
Outside: Fully-enclosed pebbled garden with large patio. Table and chairs, deck chairs, parasol and gas barbecue. The house has off-road parking for two cars, further on street parking is available in front of the house.. There is a garage for secure storage of bikes, surf boards, buggies etc.
Beach and shops 5 minutes walk. The Owl pub and Dunes Bar are 5 minutes walk.
Guests can arrive anytime after 3pm (an earlier arrival is sometimes possible), the access key is in a key safe at the property.
Welcome tea/coffee tray with homemade marmalade & a fresh loaf, hotel quality bed linen, fluffy towels and toiletries provided.
There is a hairdryer in each bedroom, plenty of hanging space and lots of coat hangers!
We have aimed to make The Salty Dog truly family friendly, families with babies and young children are most welcome. Baby equipment provided includes cots, highchairs, stair gates, steam steriliser, socket covers, baby listening monitor, non-slip bathmat, toddler step, changing mat, potty, baby books and toys, children’s/picnic plastic tableware and beakers, wind-break, paddling pool, garden toys and more. Dogs are most welcome. Our furry canine friends even get to help themselves to our doggie biscuit jar! Camber Sands beach welcomes dogs all year round with unrestricted access from October until the beginning of May but even in the summer your dog will find plenty of space to explore and run around.
